Recent Updates

New information has been added to this page on 04/07/22 regarding changes to delivery costs for some items.

Dispatch Estimates

  • Prints: Estimated dispatch time is 5 working days from date of order.
  • Cards & Wrapping Paper: Estimated dispatch time is around 3 working days from date of order.
  • LED Lights: Estimated dispatch time is around 10-14 working days from the date of order. You should check the product page for the specific processing time of your item before ordering.
  • Other Items (stickers, masks, cookie cutters, etc): Estimated dispatch time is around 3 working days.

Import tax / charges

If you are ordering outside of the UK your order may be subject to import tax and charges when your item is delivered. This rate varies for different countries so you should check what the tax rate may be for your import.

We do not cover import charges, VAT or other taxes at checkout when placing an order through this website, so you will not be charged tax on an order twice.

We will not change how custom labels are marked (for example marked as gift). All items purchased, whether purchased for you or for someone else, will be dispatched and marked as “Sale of goods”. Descriptions for items in the package are fixed for all items and you cannot request amendments to those descriptions or tariff codes.

If your country requires you to pay VAT on an item you can refuse and the item will be returned to us. Your order will be refunded minus the cost of delivery and any other fees associated with the return. We cannot cover the cost of delivery refusal and will not receive a refund ourselves.

UK VAT – Snippy Cow is not UK VAT registered and therefore doesn’t charge VAT on orders placed.

Shipping to UK

Orders typically take 3 working days to arrive but can take up to 10 working days to some locations.

Shipping to EU

Orders typically take between 10-14 working days to arrive but can take up to an additional 10 working days in some areas.

European Union VAT

Orders placed to the EU are sent from the UK which means from July 1st 2021 customers in the EU will be required to pay VAT charges on delivery for the item.

VAT is not charged for any orders, inside the UK or not, and therefore any overseas import charges will be paid by the customer.

Shipping to Rest Of World (excluding USA)

Orders typically take between 10-14 working days to arrive but can take up to an additional 10 working days in some areas.

Shipping to USA

All items to the USA are delayed by up to 27 days due to backlogs at USPS entry points. All items to the USA are posted with the Royal Mail in the UK and are then handed to USPS for final delivery in the USA. Due to these delays we are seeing orders taking a lot longer than expected. The USPS statement is below.

Orders to the USA now come with a higher delivery cost so that we can ensure that you are able to track your item. Delivery costs are per item type, for example: If you order 2 prints you pay delivery once but if you order a print and a card you’ll pay delivery twice.

Due to the impact of peak volumes and limited availability or capacity of our United States Postal Service entry points (at US airports), we are experiencing heavy delays on our shipments. Transit data shows that USPS is experiencing major backlogs in these entry points, resulting for some volumes to experience delays of 6 weeks or more.
We are aware of the issues USPS is facing and where. We are working closely with USPS every day to get our shipments to the right entry points with the best capacity. While we are working hard to resolve this as quickly as possible, we are dependent on our partners. Unfortunately these delays affects both mail and parcel volumes. In addition to that we have noticed missing scans in the US, resulting in items frequently missing updates until they are sorted in the domestic centers of USPS.

Please understand these big delays are unique to the USA and are completely our of our control.

We understand delays are frustrating and we’re sorry for any delays.

Delivery

We offer free UK delivery on pretty much everything we sell at Snippy Cow. Each item is made to order which normally takes around 2 days (we estimate 1-3 working days) and then we dispatch orders with the Royal Mail.

Free UK Delivery & Standard Delivery

Our free delivery option and standard option (for some items) use Royal Mail Second Class as standard (2-3 working days delivery) and each item comes well packaged and well protected, so you can rest assured your order will arrive in one piece.

Delivery Options

We offer a very simple upgrade option for most products available on our website and dispatch using Royal Mail First Class which normally takes 1 business day to arrive. The price of this upgrade depends on the size of the product you ordered but you can choose your delivery option during checkout.

Returns & Refunds

We do accept returns on some Snippy Cow products, these terms are outlined below.

Personalised Products Returns

With personalised products, you cannot return the item if you change your mind or you’re not happy. Please do still contact us as we may be able to arrange something.

If the product arrives damaged or not to a good enough standard we will accept returns and issue replacements or refunds where needed. These are your statutory rights.

You must notify us within 14 days of receipt of your products and provide photos and details of the damage or inadequate quality.

Standard Products Returns

If you are not happy with the product or have changed your mind you can return the item for a full refund. Please contact us within 14 days of receiving your item and ensure you return it within 14 days after that. You are required to cover return postage costs in this instance.

If the product arrives damaged or not to a good enough standard we will accept the return and issue a replacement or refund where needed. These are your statutory rights.

You must notify us within 14 days of receipt of your products and provide photos and details of the damage or inadequate quality.

Cancellations

If you wish to cancel your order you must contact us as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee cancellations due to them being sent to our print shop automatically.

You are entitled to return any order to us once it is received as long as it is not a made-to-order product or our mask products. This includes:

  • Personalised prints
  • 3D printed products

FAQs

Where is my stuff?

If your order hasn’t arrived within the estimates outlined at the beginning of this page then please get in touch.

Before we can refund a delivery 28 working days must pass. This is a requirement of the Royal Mail (our courier). If, after 28 days, you haven’t received your order please let us know and we will issue a replacement.

In North America you must wait an additional 28 days before reporting an item as lost due to delays with your local postal routes.
